RingZero Game Studio is an international video game development company with many years of experience in game development. We have released more than 30 titles on a variety of platforms. We focus on the development of AA games for consoles (PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch) / PC (Steam) as well as the development of sponsored games for mobile. Our team is comprised of more than 100 professionals coming from 15 different countries.
In addition to production, we also have an internal QA and Live Operations team covering the full development, launch and post-launch cycles.
OUR STORY
As a company, RingZero Game Studio is proud of more than just where we find ourselves today. When we reflect on the journey that brought us here, we are better able to appreciate the evolution of not just ourselves, but the gaming industry as a whole. RingZero started in 1997 as a webhosting company and quickly shifted to new media. Due to passion and interest of both our employees and our partners, we started developing video games in 2008, under RingZero Game Studio. We started by doing work-for-hire game development with several US and EU partners. These games were largely developed for the Wii, the DS, the 3DS and the WiiU.
In 2010, we started to develop our own IP and published it primarily on the Wii. Shortly thereafter, the market shifted dramatically - with the release of the iPhone - and we began to work on the development of games for mobile.
In 2016, we were fortunate enough to partner with a publisher and work on our first AA title. With this experience, many on our team realized that this is where they wanted to be and what they wanted to be doing. While we still entertain more casual projects, and work with partners on them, we found our focus and passion for the gaming industry most engaged on these bigger projects - where we can create worlds and systems that entertain and spark the imagination on a much larger scale.
We do have several long-lasting Game Development as a Service (GDaaS) projects continuing, and our people do enjoy bringing these projects to fruition; however, most of our efforts are now spent on bringing new worlds and creative visions (that come with and are largely only possible within the landscape of AA and AAA) to life.
That being said, at our core, we are a group of people that love video games and the worlds that can be brought to life within them. If a project is interesting enough, and has the real possibility to spark the imagination and joy in others, we are likely interested in being involved somehow, someway.
After the journey we have been through to get to where we are, we understand that it takes more than dedication to breathe life into that spark. It takes passion, curiosity, drive, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and landscapes.
